Q. How can I place a bid?

The easiest way to place a bid is to use the online bidding site by clicking the 'Place A Bid' link above. Bids may also be placed by phone at 231.720.4229 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please note that phone bids may not be proccessed immediately, and there may be a delay before your phone bid appears on the web site.

Q. When does the bidding end?

The bidding process will officially close at noon on May 7, 2008.

Q. How many bidders will be selected?

The 40 bidders with the highest bids at the close of the auction will be awarded seats for the inaugural ride.

Q. How is the bid order determined?

Bids are sorted by bid amount, with higher amounts placed at the top of the list. If there are multiple bids for the same amount, the bid which was placed first takes precedence.

Q. I placed a bid, but I don't see it listed on the auction site. Where did it go?

Only the winning bids are shown on the auction site. If your bid no longer qualifies as a winning bid, it will not be shown.

Q. How will seating be determined for the ride?

Seating choices will be awarded based upon bid, from highest to lowest. Seating will be assigned on the day of the event.

Q. Can children ride Thunderhawk?

Riders on Thunderhawk must be between 52 and 80 inches tall to ride. The rider restraint system may not accommodate all guests of appropriate height.

Q. How will the money raised for the inaugural event be used?

The benefits will go entirely to the American Red Cross serving Muskegon, Oceana and Newaygo Counties in western Michigan. Please choose the Red Cross link from the introduction page to see the services they provide.

Q. Is my bid tax deductible?

Payments made to the American Red Cross for this event are tax deductible. A letter certifying your donation to this event, less the value of the park admission, will be handed out the day of the event.

Q. If I am one of the winning bidders, what do I get?

All winning bidders will receive a continental breakfast, the first ride, admission to the park on May 14 (the waterpark will be closed), a certificate, and one admission ticket for a future day during the 2008 season.
