"A CELEBRATION OF THE AMERICAN SPIRIT"
The American Red Cross serving Muskegon, Oceana, and Newaygo Counties is pleased to welcome legendary entertainer Lee Greenwood to Muskegon on Friday, April 12, 2002. This major concert event will start at 7:30 p.m. at the L.C. Walker Arena in Muskegon.
Lee Greenwood's performance will only be part of the evening's events, which is being billed as a "Celebration of the American Spirit." The American Red Cross is planning a very patriotic night of music, video and crowd participation to thank and honor Americans for their response to the terrorist attacks of September 11th.
Greenwood's performance will be a fitting conclusion to the "Celebration of the American Spirit" as he performs "God Bless the USA" which is considered one of the most patriotic songs ever written.
Tickets go on sale, Wednesday, December 12, 2001. Tickets are available at L.C. Walker Arena Box Office or by telephone at (231) 726-2400 or any Ticket Master Outlet. Tickets are $27.50, $20.00 and $10.00.
Special patron tickets are available, which include priority seating, a pre-show party, and a tax-deductible contribution to local Red Cross programs. The price of a patron ticket is $55.00 and can be purchased at the Red Cross office at 313 W. Webster Avenue, Muskegon or by calling (231) 726-3555, ext. 223.
