Community Disaster Education: It is important to learn how to take steps in preparing for disasters such as severe weather, chemical emergencies, power outages, and house fires.
 
General Preparedness: Do you have a plan? Do you have an emergency kit? Learn how to make a plan and put together a kit.
 
Pandemic Flu: Learn the facts about a pandemic flu and what you can do to prepare if such an outbreak occurs (1 hour presentation).
 
The Services of the American Red Cross: Learn the history of the Red Cross and what services the chapter offers to the community.
 
Volunteer Opportunities: Would people in your group like to volunteer? Learn about the volunteer opportunities that the chapter offers from American Red Cross volunteers.
 
Story of Response: Our volunteers have helped many people such as taking seniors to their appointments, helping people after a fire, taking care of people in a disaster shelter and delivering blood to hospitals.
